What is One Ticker?

One Ticker is a marketplace for tickers. You buy a ticker, then launch it on pump.fun or list it for sale. Each ticker can only be launched once here.

Devnet test. Buying and selling tickers runs on Solana devnet with fake SOL that has no real value. Launching on pump.fun is built, but it only works on mainnet, so it's turned off here.

The problem

On pump.fun, anyone can launch a coin with any ticker, anytime. As soon as a coin gets attention, copycats with the same ticker show up. Buyers end up in the wrong coin, and the original dev loses part of the volume. We measured it across all 78,614 coins launched on pump.fun on Sept. 25–26, 2026:

  • 82% of new coins reuse a ticker that was already used in the past 7 days.
  • 3m 56s is the median time between a coin hitting 100 holders and its first copycat.
  • 80% of graduated coins get copied, with a median of 4 copies in 24 hours.
  • 42% of a copied ticker's volume goes to coins other than the top one.

What One Ticker does

  • Search any ticker to see if it's free, owned, listed, launched or blocked. Only the exact ticker counts ($CAT and $C4T are different tickers).
  • Buy a free ticker for 0.05 SOL, one time. While you hold it, nobody else can launch it on One Ticker.
  • List it for sale on the marketplace. When it sells, you get paid directly in the same transaction (5% fee).
  • Launch it on pump.fun from your own wallet (no launch fee for a ticker you own), or launch any free ticker right away. Your coin becomes the official one for that ticker, and anyone can check it through the public API.

What One Ticker doesn't do

  • It can't stop copycats outside One Ticker. Anyone can still launch the same ticker on pump.fun or another launchpad.
  • "Official" only means the coin was launched on One Ticker. It's not an endorsement, an audit or a guarantee.
  • It never takes custody of your keys, coins or SOL. You sign everything in your own wallet, and marketplace payments go straight from buyer to seller.
  • There's no One Ticker token, presale or airdrop.
  • It's not affiliated with pump.fun.
