Terms and risks
Our terms, in plain English.
Draft. Not final, not legal advice. This is a draft. A lawyer hasn't reviewed these terms yet, and they'll change before One Ticker runs on mainnet. During the devnet test, no real money is involved.
1. What One Ticker is
One Ticker is an independent registry and marketplace for tickers. You can own a ticker on One Ticker, sell it, and launch a coin with it on pump.fun from your own wallet. One Ticker is not affiliated with pump.fun or the Solana Foundation.
2. What owning a ticker gives you
- While you hold its NFT (from the One Ticker collection), nobody else can buy the same exact ticker from One Ticker or launch it on One Ticker. The NFT doesn't expire, and whoever holds it is the owner.
- It does not give you any rights to the ticker outside One Ticker. Anyone can still launch the same ticker on pump.fun or anywhere else.
- It's not a trademark, a property right or a financial product.
- The 0.05 SOL price isn't refundable, except in the void-NFT case described in the rules.
- Resales happen between users, at the seller's price, in one transaction. One Ticker takes a 5% fee and never takes custody of the funds. One Ticker makes no promises about what any ticker is worth.
3. What launching on One Ticker means
- Launching a free ticker costs a 0.01 SOL launch fee (none if you launch a ticker you own), charged in the same transaction as the launch. Launching a ticker you own uses up its NFT.
- The 90/10 rewards split is required for your coin to be official. 90% of your coin's pump.fun creator rewards go to you and 10% to the One Ticker treasury, set once with pump.fun's rewards sharing. If the split isn't set within 60 minutes of launch, or is set differently, your coin stays on pump.fun but isn't the official coin on One Ticker, and the ticker is free again. If you finish the split before anyone else takes the ticker, your coin is official again. The 10% share is a fee for the service. It gives nothing to anyone, and no use of it is promised.
- The first launch confirmed on-chain wins. One Ticker ignores any other launch of the same ticker.
4. Risks
- Memecoins are extremely risky and most lose all their value. Only use money you can afford to lose.
- Nothing on One Ticker is financial, investment, legal or tax advice. We make no promise of any gains.
- "Official" only means the coin was launched on One Ticker. It's not an endorsement or an audit of the coin, its dev or its project.
- Blockchain transactions are final. You're responsible for checking what you sign in your wallet.
- The service relies on third parties (Solana, RPC providers, pump.fun, IPFS), and any of them can fail or change at any time.
- The software may have bugs. It's provided "as is," without warranty.
5. Acceptable use
- No impersonating brands, public figures or other projects.
- No market manipulation, including fake volume, misleading bundling or pump-and-dump schemes.
- No using One Ticker to scam buyers.
We may refuse or remove tickers that break these rules or the law.
6. Changes
Rules and fees are v1 values and may change. We'll post changes in the docs before they take effect. A ticker that's already owned keeps the rules that applied when it was bought.
7. Privacy
- We don't ask for your name. You sign in with your own wallet, or with Google, X or email through Privy, our login provider, which then creates a Solana wallet for you. Privy handles that login, and One Ticker's server never receives your email or password.
- For each ticker you own, list, buy or sell, we store the ticker, your wallet address, the transaction IDs and amounts, the dates and the status (same for old reservations).
- Your wallet address and the ticker's status (owner, price) are visible to anyone who looks up the ticker (see Security). Payments are public on the Solana blockchain.
- The site doesn't use tracking cookies. Your wallet may remember the connection.
