How it works

Search a ticker, buy it, then launch it on pump.fun or list it for sale. Launching only works on Solana mainnet.

1. Search a ticker

Type a ticker in the search bar. You'll see right away if it's free, owned (and maybe listed), already launched or blocked. The $ sign, spaces and case don't matter ($cat is the same as CAT), but everything else has to match exactly: CAT, C4T and CATT are three different tickers.

2. Buy it (0.05 SOL)

Click Sign in and continue with Google, X or email (we'll create a Solana wallet for you), or connect your own wallet (Phantom, Solflare, Backpack). Then buy the free ticker for 0.05 SOL. Your wallet shows one transaction that pays 0.05 SOL to the One Ticker treasury and sends the ticker to your wallet as an NFT named $CAT (Metaplex Core). If any part fails, nothing happens.

The NFT never expires. As long as you hold it, you're the only one who can launch that ticker on One Ticker. You can:

• launch it whenever you're ready, with no launch fee (step 3);
• list it for sale on the marketplace, then edit or cancel the listing anytime (5% fee when it sells, taken from the buyer's payment);
• keep it, or send it to another wallet.

Ownership is public. The ticker, the owner's wallet and the price (if listed) show up on the site and in the API. Whoever holds the NFT is the owner, even if it was moved outside One Ticker. See Marketplace.

3. Launch on pump.fun

You can launch a ticker you own (no launch fee), or launch a free ticker directly for 0.01 SOL ("Launch now", no purchase needed). Right before you sign, we check on-chain that you still hold the NFT, or that the ticker is still free.

Add a name, an image, a description and links, pick an optional dev buy, then approve once in your wallet. Your coin is created on pump.fun. If you're launching a ticker you own, the NFT is burned in the same transaction, and from then on the ticker stays with your coin for good and can't be sold. Our server checks the launch on-chain, then marks your coin as official. More in Launching on pump.fun and Fees.

Ticker statuses

After launch

Once your coin launches on One Ticker (with the 90/10 split in place), the ticker stays with it for good, even if trading stops. Nobody can launch another official coin with the same ticker, so it's always clear which one is the original.
