Marketplace

List any ticker you own at the price you want. Each sale is one transaction, straight from buyer to seller. One Ticker never takes custody of your SOL.

Your ticker is an NFT in your wallet

When you buy a free ticker (0.05 SOL), you get an NFT named $CAT from the official One Ticker collection (Metaplex Core). Whoever holds this NFT owns the ticker on One Ticker. It shows up in your wallet like any other NFT. Only NFTs from the One Ticker collection count. An NFT called "$CAT" from anywhere else means nothing here.

Listing a ticker

  1. Go to My tickers, click List for sale and set a price.
  2. Your wallet asks you to approve this listing. That lets the One Ticker marketplace move your NFT only as part of a sale at this price. The NFT stays in your wallet.
  3. You can Edit listing anytime (the new approval replaces the old one) or Cancel listing (the approval is revoked on-chain).

Buying a ticker

On the marketplace or a ticker's page, click Buy now. Your wallet shows one transaction that:

  • sends 95% of the price to the seller;
  • sends 5% to the One Ticker treasury;
  • moves the NFT from the seller to you.

If anything goes wrong (someone else bought it first, the seller changed or canceled the listing, or you don't have enough SOL), the whole transaction fails and nobody pays anything. If two people buy at the same moment, only one transaction can go through.

Why One Ticker never takes custody of your funds

  • There's no deposit and no escrow account. SOL goes straight from buyer to seller.
  • Your NFT stays in your wallet until it sells. The approval you give covers one listing, and our server can only use it inside a transaction that pays you in full and is signed by the buyer.
  • The approval goes away automatically as soon as the NFT moves (sale or transfer), and you can revoke it yourself anytime with Cancel listing.

Selling somewhere else

The NFT is a standard NFT, so you can also sell it on another NFT marketplace or send it to another wallet. The new holder becomes the owner on One Ticker, and your listing here is canceled automatically. The One Ticker collection has a 5% royalty that most marketplaces apply.

Launching a ticker you own

Launch it from My tickers or its page. There's no launch fee. The NFT is burned in the same transaction that creates your coin on pump.fun, and from then on the ticker stays with your coin and can't be sold. Only the current holder can launch it.

You have 1 hour after launch to finish the 90/10 split, or the ticker is free again. If the required rewards split isn't set in time, your coin loses its official status and the NFT used for the launch is gone. It doesn't come back, and anyone can then buy or launch the ticker.

Activity and stats

Every sale is public. The marketplace shows recent sales, total volume, the last sale and the floor price, and each ticker page shows its last sale. See the public API (/api/market, /api/market/sales, /api/market/stats).
